Separating the wheat from the chaff

September 20, 2015 By Laura Paradise

The eve of the autumnal equinox is the time to look at what’s ready to harvest, what needs cultivating and what’s compost. Take an honest look at your behaviors, actions and goals from the last year and ask yourself:

What seeds did I plant?

What’s ready to cultivate?

What still needs tending and attention?

What have I grown? What can I harvest?

What never took root (and why not?!)?

What is best left fallow?

What’s better put to compost?

You are a farmer separating the wheat from the chaff. What you tend will grow, weeds too.
